saltcellar, silver, 950, 91 ПТ standard, 406.4 g, (weight without glass inserts), 26 х 10.7 х 8.6 cm, "Alexandre Gueyton", ~ 1875, Paris, France, the table service, the so-called "Scandinavian", consisted of 30 items and was made by order of Prince Nikolai Borisovich Yusupov and his wife, Princess Tatyana Alexandrovna. In each of the items there is the coat of arms of the Yusupov family. The service got its name due to the ornamentation, made based on Old Norse articles, but at the same time, the influence of Old Russian art can be traced in the decor elements.
