It was based on stories told by Swedish prisoners of war, who were captured during the Great Northern War (1701-1721). They have been in Siberia (in Tobolsk) approximately for 10 years. Prisoners have succeeded in collecting very interesting materials about Siberia and its residents, historical and ethnographic data. An illustration on a separate page
