order, Order of Suvorov, № 12606, awarded MOMCILO DJURIC MILUTINOVITCH (1912-1980), 3rd class, silver, USSR, weight (without nut) 23.70 g, silver nut, Momchilo Djuric participated in all major battles of the People's Liberation Army of Yugoslavia against the fascist invaders. In battles he was wounded twice. Becomes chief of staff of the First Proletarian Division, commander of the Shumadiyskaya partisan division, commander of the Belgrade division. In 1944, Momchilo Djuric and his division participated together with the Soviet Army in the operation to liberate Belgrade, for which the Soviet government awarded him the Order of Suvorov. For merits in the People's Liberation War, he was awarded by the Yugoslav government the highest orders of Yugoslavia - the Partisan Star of the first degree, the Partisan Star of the second degree, the Order of Merit for the People of the first degree, the Order of Courage, the Partisan Spomenica of 1941 (the highest award in Yugoslavia, it was given only to those who participated in the anti-fascist struggle from the first to the last day of the war).
