Paul Verlaine, "Femmes - Hombres - Les amies", Pour les Amis de Paul Verlaine, exemplaire numéro 96/200. Illustrations de Georges Annenkoff, 1935, 122 pages, 21 x 15 cm, The illustrations are signed with the monogram "G.A.", used by Yuri Annenkov (Georges Annenkoff). The book was published without mentioning the illustrator's name, publisher, place, or year of publication. The book was printed in a limited edition of 400 copies, of which only 200 included the illustrations. Yuri Pavlovich (Georges) Annenkov (1889–1974) was a representative of the Russian avant-garde, a Russian and French painter, graphic artist, theater and costume designer, and writer. He worked extensively as an illustrator, including for French limited-edition erotic publications. Paul Marie Verlaine (1844–1896) was a French poet, one of the founders of literary Impressionism and Symbolism. This edition combines three collections of Verlaine's erotic poetry: Les Amies (1867), Femmes (1890), and Hombres (1891)
